RESOLUTION NO. 69R-545
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
THE MUTUAL BENEFIT LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, a New Jersey
corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of the Northwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Fractional Section 24, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as
said section is shown on the map recorded in Book 51, page 10
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County, described as
follows;
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Tract 6094, as per Map
thereof recorded in Book 226, pages 31 and 32 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said County; thence South 00 04' 31" West
along the Easterly line of said Tract a distance of 2.26 feet
to the intersection with a line that is parallel with and distant
45.00 feet south of the centerline of Cerritos Avenue; thence
South 890 46 I 06;; East along said parallel line 152.01 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave northwesterly, having a
radius of 1045 feet; thence Easterly and Northerly along said
curve through a central angle of 120 47' 23" an arc distance of
233.28 feet to the intersection wi~~ a line that is parallel with
and distant 20.00 feet south of the centerline of Cerritos Avenue;
thence North 890 46' 06" West along said parallel line 291.25

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
