RESOLUTION NO. 69R-S41
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHED1 ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIH CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AID PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
INDUSTRIAL BUILDERS, INC., a Callfornla corporat1on
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Westerly 32 feet, as measured at right angles
to the centerline of Grove Street, of that portion of Lot 1
of Orange Grove Acres, as said lot is shown on a Map of said
tract recorded in Book 6, page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the most Easterly corner of the land described
in the deed to the State of California recorded August 23,
1963 in Book 6687, page 848 of Official Records of said
Orange County, said corner being in the Northwesterly line
of the 100-foot right of way of the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railroad, formerly Southern California Railway,
as shown on said map, distant thereon North 16u 00' 44" East
34.24 feet, more or less, from the Southerly line of said
Lot 1, and running thence Westerly and Northerly along the
boundary of the land described in said deed the following
courses and distances: South 73" 48' 40" West 141.46 feet;
North 3u 45' 30" \-Jest 103.24 feet; North 25" 33' 14" Hest
26.93 feet to the Westerly line of said Lot 1 and the most
Northerly corner of the land described in the above mentioned
deed; thence along said Westerly line, North 3v 45' 3011 West

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
