RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 537
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHED1 ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIH CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEHENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
offered
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFOP~, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
CAROLINE LEWIS, a single woman
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 24 of Tract 796,
recorded in Book 24, page 28 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Orange Avenue
and Bruce Street, as shown on a Map of Tract 2450, re-
corded in Book 93, pages 25, 26, and 27 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County; thence North 890
45' 00" West along the centerline of said Orange Avenue
a distance of 185.06 feet; thence South 000 36' 15"
West a distance of 32 feet; thence South 890 45' 00"
East a distance of 139.97 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius
of 1; feet; thence ~outheasterly and Southerly along
said curve through a central angle of 900 21' 19" an arc
distance of 23.65 feet; thence South 890 23' 41" East a
distance of 30 feet to the centerline of Bruce Street;
thence North 000 36' 19" East along the centerline of
said Bruce Street a distance of 47.28 feet to the point
of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
