RESOLUTION NO. 69R- ')?1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK AND
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES TO DESTROY
ORIGINALS OF CERTAIN RECORDS IN THE POSSESSION
OF THE CITY CLERK AND ANAHEIM DEVELOPMENT
SERVICES DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California
authorizes the destruction of certain records of the City upon
approval of the legislative body of the City, and with the written
consent of the City Attorney, provided that said records do
not fall within certain specified categories; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Development Services Director
have requested the authority to destroy certain records in accor-
dance with Section 34090 and 34090.5(d) of the Government Code
of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, all such documents have been microfilmed
and occupy much needed storage space in the Development Services
Department and the City Clerk's Office; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney of the City of Anaheim
does hereby give his written consent for the destruction of
the following documents:
1. Conditional Use Permit X-I to Conditional
Use Permit X-20, both inclusive, initiated
in the years 1955 to 1959.
2. Special Use Permit 1 to Special Use Permit
91, both inclusive, initiated in the years
1956 to 1960.
3. Conditional Use Permit 92 to Conditional
Use Permit 258, both inclusive, initiated
in the years 1960 to 1962.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby authorize the City Clerk
and the Director of Development Services Department to destroy
the following documents:
1. Conditional Use Permit X-I to Conditional
Use Permit X-20, both inclusive, initiated
in the years 1955 to 1959.
2. Special Use Permit 1 to Special Use Permit
91, both inclusive, initiated in the years
1956 to 1960.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOVLED that the proper official
of the City having custody of the above-designated records shall
cause said records to be destroyed in a lawful manner; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon destruction of the
foregoing records, a certificate of destruction shall be executed
and the original thereof filed in the Office of the City Clerk,
together with a copy of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
10th day of September , 1969.
