RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 511
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT TO BE MADE
AND ENTERED INTO WITH THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC
COMPANY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF GRADE CROSS-
ING AND PROTECTIVE DEVICES AT THE CROSSING
OF BROADWAY STREET OVER TRACKS AND PROPERTY
OF RAILROAD (CROSSING NO. BAA-509.0).
WHEREAS, tQe Southern pa~ific Company, a corporation,
has tendered to the City of Anaheim 'an agreement for the improve-
ment of grade crossing and protective d~vices at the crossing of
Broadway Street over tracks and property ,of Railroad, at or near
West Anaheim, in the County of Orange, State of California
(Crossing No. BAA-S09.0), in the location as shown upon the print
of said Company's Los Angeles Division Drawing A-5053, Sheet No.
2, revised December 12, 1968, attached to and made a part of said
agreement; and
WHEREAS, said agreement has this day been submitted to
the City Council of the City of Anaheim for its consideration,
and, the City Council doe~find and determine that it would be for
the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim( to enter in-
to said agreement with the Southern Pacific Company, and that the
same should be app~oved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted to the
City Council to be executed by the Southern Pacific Company and
the City of Anaheim for the improvement of grade crossing and
protective devices at the crossing of Broadway Street over tracks
and property of Railroad, at or near West Anaheim, in the County
of Orange, State of California (Crossing No. BAA-509.0), in the
location as shown upon the print of said Company's Los Angeles
Division Drawing A-5053, Sheet No.2, revised December 12, 1968,
attached to and made a part of said agreement, be, and the same
is hereby approved and accepted.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
