RESOLUTION NO. 69R-487
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
HARRY A. FERGUSON and IDA E. FERGUSON, husband and wife;
and TEXACO, INC., as Lessee under Lease dated February
1, 1956, as amended
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of the South
175 feet of the East 195 feet of the Southeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 27, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Harbor
Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue, as shown on a Map
of Tract 3029 recorded in Book 91, pages 14 and 15
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County;
thence South 890 43' 23" West along the centerline
of Orangewood Avenue a distance of 195.03 feet;
thence North 00 16' 37" West 45 feet to an inter-
section with a line parallel with and 45 feet
Northerly of the centerline of Orangewood Avenue;
thence North 890 43' 23" East 109.53 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly
and having a radius of 25 feet; thence Northeasterly
and Northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 910 04' 3D" an arc distance of 39.74 feet
to an intersection with a line parallel with and
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anah~im acc~pt a c~nv~y-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
