RESOLUTION NO. 69R-478
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES INCLUDING UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL
CABLES AND RELATED FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal pu~poses, to wit: An easement for public utility
purposes including underground electrical cables and related
and facilities;
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MARJORIE J. TALT and ALAN
R. TALT, wife and husband, ROBERT S. DULIN and SUSAN W. DULIN,
WILLIAM L. PLUNKETT and HARRIET H. PLUNKETT
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public utility
purposes includinq underqround electrical cables and related
facilities , and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes, including the installation
and maintenance of underground electrical cables and related
facilities, under and across that portion of the West half of the
West half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the said West half of the
West half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of
said Section 24, as shown on a Map filed in Book 18, page 23 of
Parcel Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County;
thence along the centerline of Ball Road, South 890 551 36" East
23 feet to an intersection with the centerline of Belhaven Street,
as shown on said Parcel Map; thence South 00 141 40" East along
the said centerline of said Belhaven Street 68.26 feet; thence
North 890 451 20" East 32 feet to a point of intersection with the
Easterly right of way line of said Belhaven Street, said point
also being the true point of beginning; thence South 00 141 40"
East 526.58 feet along the said Easterly right of way line of said
Belhaven Street; thence North 890 451 20" East 5 feet; thence
parallel to the said Easterly right of way line of said Belhaven
Street North 00 141 40" West 526.58 feet; thence South 890 451 20"
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($l.OO).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
