A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANM1EIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal pu:t:'poses, to wit: An easement for
road and public utili tv purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner~ of said property ha~ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
JOHN R. BALAAM and SANDRA L. BALAAM, husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across a portion of that parcel of land in the Lands of Dreyfus,
et aI, as shown on a Map by Wm. Hamel filed in Book 3, page 163
of Los Angeles County Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of South Street
and Lemon Street, as shown on a Map filed in Book 27, page
34 of Record of Surveys in the Office of the County Recorder
of said Orange County; thence South 150 21' 30" East along
the centerline of said Lemon Street a distance of 140.15
feet; thence South 740 29' 00" West a distance of 32 feet to
an intersection with a line parallel with and 32 feet Westerly
of the centerline of said Lemon Street; thence North 150 21'
30" West a distance of 94.93 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius of
15 feet; thence Northerly, Northwesterly and Westerly along
said curve through a central angle of 900 09' 30" an arc
distance of 23.60 feet; to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 30 feet Southerly of the centerline of said
South Street; thence North 150 31' 00" West a distance of
30 feet to an intersection with the centerline of South Street;

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($l.OO).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
