A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAJIEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM OF THE TERRITORY
KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS LINDA VISTA NO.
2 ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did, prior to the 17th day
of April, 1969, request the Local Agency Formation Commission to
permit certain territory owned entirely by the City to be annexed
by the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission authorized
the City of Anaheim to annex said territory without notice and
hearing and without an election pursuant to the authority vested
in said Commission by Section 54797.1 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to said
City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, and is not contiguous to the City of Anaheim, that
said territory consists of less than 100 acres and may be annexed
pursuant to Government Code Section 35201.5; and that said terri-
tory is uninhabited. That said request by the City of Anaheim
contained a description of said territory in words and figures as
hereinafter in this resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve said annexation by resolution without notice
and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local Agency Forma-
tion Commission and Section 35310.1 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of ~~aheim did, prior to the 17th day of
April, 1969, request the Local Agency Formation Commission to per-
mit certain territory owned entirely by the City to be annexed
to the City of lillaheim. That said territory proposed to be annexed
to said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State
of California, and is noncontiguous to the City of Anaheim, and is
uninhabited territory. That the territory proposed to be annexed
is described in words and figures as hereinafter in this resolution
described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the terri-
tory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commission
and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said annexa-
tion request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1
of the Government Code.
That on the 11th day of June, 1969, the Local Agency
Formation Commission duly adopted Resolution No. 69-99 in which
said Commission authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said
territory in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Government
Code and further approved such annexation of said territory with-
out notice or hearing.
That the Local Agency Formation Commission further, by
resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of Anaheim
to annex said territory without notice or hearing by the City
Council and without the requirement that an election be held

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of Linda Vista No.
2 Annexation more particularly described as follows to wit:

THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
That certain parcel of land located in the County of
Orange, State of California, being a portion of Lot One, Block
K of the Kraemer Tract, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88
of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California,
also being that parcel of land described as Parcel No. Two
in the Final Order of Condemnation to the City of Anaheim,
recorded January 25, 1962 in Book 5988, pages 618 through 621,
inclusive, of Official Records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the land described
in Parcelrwo in said final order of condemnation, said
Southeast corner and point of beginning being distant from the
centerline intersection of Anaheim Road (now known as Miraloma
Avenue! and Miller Street, as said intersection is shown on a
Map of Survey filed in Book 52, page 37 of Record of Surveys
in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
California, the following courses and distances: North 730
06 21" East 2,320c13 feet, North 40 00' 30" West, 1,342"96
feet ,: thence following along the Southerly line, the Westerly
line, the Northerly line and the Easterly line of the land
described in said Parcel No. 2 in the last mentioned final order
of condemnation to the City of Anaheim, the following courses
and distances~ South 850 59' 30" West 65.62 feet to the South-
west corner of said parcel; thence North 40 00" 30" West 47cOO
feet; to the Northwest corner of said parcel; thence North
850 59' 30" East. 65.62 feet to the Northeast corner of said
parcel; thence South 40 00" 30" East 47000 feet to the point
of beginning

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to
and incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and is hereby designated as the Linda Vista
No. 2 Annexation to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date
of the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a certified
copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the State of Cali-
fornia, the annexation of the territory herein described shall
be deemed to be and shall be complete and thence forth such
annexed territory shall be, to all intents and purposes, a part
of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 15th day of July, 1969.
