RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 415
A RESOLUTIOn OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI~ ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CER'rAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEl1ENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
VENIE DANIELS, a widow
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of Lot 8,
Anaheim Extension, as per map of survey made by
William Hamel, dated and acknowledged on December
11, 1868 by A. Robinson, Trustee, on file in the
Office of the County Recorder in Los Angeles County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Santa
Ana Street and East Street, as shown on a map of
Tract 1770, recorded in Book 59, pages 7 through
10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county;
thence North 150 23' 01" West along the centerline
of said East Street 201.57 feet; thence North 740
36' 59" East 40 feet to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 40 feet Easterly of the said
centerline of said East Street; thence South 150
23' 01" East parallel to the centerline of said
East Street 156.47 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a
radius of 15 feet; thence Southeasterly and Easterly
along said curve through a central angle of 900
05' 44" an arc distance of 23.59 feet to an inter-
section with a line parallel with and 30 feet Northerly
of the centerline of said Santa Ana Street; thence North
740 31' IS" East 87.97 feet; thence South 150 28'
45" East 30 feet to an intersection with the center-
line of said Santa Ana Street; thence South 740
31' 15" West along the said centerline of said
Santa Ana Street 143.04 feet to the point of
beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
