69R-413 RESOLUTION NO. 691<-413 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 1116 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive an application for a conditional use permit from G. Sydney Barton, 611 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, owner,to establish a 280-space trailer park for recreational vehicles on the following described property, to wit: Parcel L The easterly 15 feet of the Southwest quarter of tilei:~ortheast quarter of the ~'~ortlleast quarter of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa i1na, in the City of lmillleim, as shown on a map record- ed in book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. Parcel 2: The Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of the i'-iortheast quarter of Sec'cion 21 in 'Township 4 Sonc' , Eange 10 ~vest, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City of Anaheim, as shown on a map recorded in book 51, page 10, Niscellaneous ilaps, records of Orange County, California. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said application on J'une 2 , 19 69 ,notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in- vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing did adopt its Resolut~on NO.PQ59-123 =8:eA.=es aDProvinq Cond1tional Use Permit No. 1116 and -1- ,"'-" .;~,..-,,"-=,".._~-~....,,,,,,,,..,.. WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the City Planning Commission in ~prOvinq said conditional use permit and did thereupon fix t e lft-~ day of JU1<! ' 19 69, as the time and the Counci hamber in the ity Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said conditional use permit, and notices of such public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hear- ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds, after careful conside- ration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that: 1. The proposed use is properly one for which a conditional use permit is authorized by the Anaheim MUnicipal Code. The proposed use will not adversely affect the adjoining land uses and the growth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located. The size and shape of the site proposed .for the use is adequate to allow the full development of the proposed use in a manner not detrimental" to the particular area nor to the peace, health, safety and general welfare. The traffic generated by the proposed use will not impose an undue burden upon the streets and high- ways designed and improved to carry the traffic in the area. 2. 3. 4. 5. The granting of the conditional use permit under the conditions imposed will not be detrimental to the peace, health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com- mission aDPtovinq said conditional use permit be, and the same is here y c::m:::t-rl ~np~ ,and that Conditional Use Permit No. l11h be, an t e same is hereby, granted permitting the aforementioned owner to estab11sh a 280-space. trailer park for recreational vehicles, subject to the follow~ng conditions: 1. That this conditional use perm1t is granted subject to the completion of Reclassification No. 66-67-61(31). 2. That the sidewalks and driveways shall be installed along West Street, as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in b,e office of the City Engineer. 3. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department. -2- 4. That a 6-foot masonry wall shall be constructed along the east, north, and south property lines. s. That the proposed development shall be in accordance with the requirements of ele State Trailer Act, and that plumb- ing shall be provided in order that tile mobile home park shall accommodate all trailers and not be restricted to "California approved trailers i. only. 6. That Condition ~os. 2, 3, 4, and 5, above mentioned, shall be complied with prior to final building and zoning inspec- tions. 7. That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibit Nos. 1 and 2. 8. That a five year (5) time limit shall be established for the proposed travel trailer park, after which time the use shall be reviewed for consideration of an additional period of time or termination without prejudice. 9. That the owner of subject property shall post a bond with the City of Anaheim to guarantee the installation of a 6-foot masonry wall along the westerly boundary of the property, said bond to be posted prior to final building and zoning inspec- tion and to remain posted for a period of five years correspond- ing wi til the time limitation referred to in Condition 8. 10. 'l'hat the proposed travel trailer park shall be served DY underground utilities.
