A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO, 1118
WHEREAS, th~ City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit ,from
Robert Orr, agent for Voge, Inc., 7601 Crenshaw Boulevard, Los
Angeles, California, owner, to permit on-sale liquor in an
existing restaurant on the following described property:
That portion of Lot 16 of Anaheim Extension, in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as shown on a Map of Survey made by
William Hamel. and filed in the Office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
a copy of which is shown in Book 3, page 163, et.
seq. entitled "Los Angeles County Maps," records
of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on, the center line of South
Street North 740 36' 05" East 111.50 feet from the
Northwest corner of the land oonveyed by deed re-
corded October 28, 1947, in Book 1590, page 187,
Official Records, said corner being South 740 36'
OS" West 373.10 feet from the intersection of said
center line with the center line of Placentia Avenue;
thence South 150 45' 25" East 188.73 feet, para11el
with the west line of said land to the Northwesterly
line of the land described in the deed to William
H. Grebel, et ux., recorded July 3, 1948 in Book 1663
pages 397 and 398, Of~icial Records; thence North 740
36' 05" East to the Northeast corner of said land; thence
North 00 OS' 15" West 195.84 feet along said center line
of Placentia Avenue to said center line of South Street;
thence South 740 36' OS" West 261.60 feet'to the point
of beginning.
EXCEPT that portion thereof that lies within'the'l~nes
of South Street, as shown on said Map.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commi..ion did bold .
public hearing at the City Ball in the City of Anaheim UpOJ1l
said request on June 2 1969 ~ notice. ,of which
said public hearing were ~uly given al required by law and the
~rovisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anabeim Mmnicipal
Code; and'
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inepaetioft, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and r~ports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. .EC6.9-124 __

WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was file~ with the City Council protesting the action of the
City Planning Commission in deny~nq said Conditional
Use Permit and said appeal was set or public hearing on

of Anahe m, and notices 0 such pUblic hearing were duly given
as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter
18.76 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and '
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Conmission and all evidence and reports offered at said hea.r-
ins, that Conditional Use Permit No. lllR should be denied.
NOW, THERErou~ BE IT RESOLVED ,by the Ci1:y Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the CityPlann1ng Com-
mission dPnYr ng,. l Conditional Use Permit No. ll18 be,
and the same shereb, sust~ined , and that the request of
Robert Orr" agent for Voge, Inc., owner, to permit on-sale liquor
in an existing restaurant is hereby denied.
