Sohl EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: Lisa Stipkovich A complete copy of the agenda for the meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority was posted at 2:55 p.m. on October 17, 1997 at the City Hall Kiosk, containing all items as shown herein. Chairman Daly called the regular meeting of the Anaheim Housing Authority to order at 6:16 p.m. FINANCIAL DEMANDS AGAINST THE ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY in the amount of $8,991.31 for the period ending October 13, 1997 and $2,034.32 for the period ending October 20, 1997, in accordance with the 1997-98 Budget, were approved. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: There were no additions to agenda items. ITEMS OF PUBLIC INTEREST: No items of public interest were addressed. PUBLIC COMMENTS - AGENDA ITEMS: There were no public comments on Housing Authority Agenda items. 1.172: Approving a request to close the 1100 block of N. Citron Street, in conjunction with re-naming this section of N. Citron Street to “Village Way”, and authorizing the Executive Director to execute the required documents. (Paseo Village Project.) Chairman Daly. It is worth underscoring that the project has rehabilitated a series of old apartments which particularly needed attention. Staff has worked a long time to bring in private funds to do the rehabilitation. Part of the project is to close off the street to through traffic and install gated access. Lisa Stipkovich, Executive Director of Community Development. She reported that the project has won an American Planning Association award, State of California designation for best implementation of a project. The notification was just received and it will be formally presented to the Authority/Council very shortly. The project is about 70% complete with a grand opening scheduled for November.
