REGULAR MEETING OF
OCTOBER 27, 2009
The Anaheim Redevelopment Agency met in regular session in the Chambers of Anaheim
City Hall located at 200 South Anaheim Boulevard.
Present: Chairman Curt Pringle, Agency Members: Lord Galloway, Bob Hernandez, Lucille
Kring, and Harry Sidhu
Staff Present: City Manager Tom Wood, City Attorney Cristina Talley, and Secretary Linda
Andal
A copy of the agenda was posted on October 23, 2009 on the kiosk outside City Hall.
At 5:12 P.M., Chairman Pringle called the meeting of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to
order for a joint public comment session with the Anaheim City Council and Anaheim
Housing Authority.
ADDITIONS /DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA: None
PUBLIC COMMENTS: No comments offered during oral communications related to the
Redevelopment Agency agenda.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
At 5:20 P.M., Agency Member Hernandez moved to approve the consent calendar as
presented, seconded by Agency Member Sidhu. Roll call vote: Ayes - 5; Chairman Pringle,
Agency Members: Galloway, Hernandez, Kring and Sidhu. Noes - 0. Motion Carried.
1. Approve and authorize the Agency Executive Director to execute an Exclusive
5927 Negotiation Agreement (Broadway Mixed Use Project) with the Anaheim Boys and
Girls Club and the Anaheim Police Activities League for a new Boys and Girls Club
adjacent to the Downtown Community Center (related to Agency Item No. 2 and No.
3).
2. Approve and authorize the Agency Executive Director to execute an Exclusive
5928 Negotiation Agreement (Broadway Mixed Use Project) with the Anaheim Family
YMCA for a new YMCA facility adjacent to the Downtown Community Center (related
to Agency Item No. 1 and No. 3).
3. Approve and authorize the Agency Executive Director to execute an Exclusive
5929 Negotiation Agreement (Broadway Mixed Use Project) with Brookfield Southland
Holdings, LLC for a new residential development and provide design and construction
management services toward the development of the Boys and Girls Club adjacent to
the Downtown Community Center (related to Agency Item No. 1 and No. 2).

4. Approve and authorize the Agency Executive Director to execute a Cooperation
5930 Agreement with the City for the transfer of HOME funds and a Home Investment
Partnership Affordable Housing Agreement, in substantial form, with Colette's
Children's Home for a multi - family affordable housing project located at
3431 W. Olinda Lane (related to Council Item No. 20).
5. RESOLUTION NO. ARA 2009 -08 A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNMENT
ARA -161 BOARD OF THE ANAHEIM REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY establishing the days for
regular meetings of the Agency for the 2010 calendar year.
6. Approve minutes of the Redevelopment Agency meeting of October 13, 2009.
