A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
CLASSIFICATION AND RATE OF
COMPENSATION FOR CLASSIFICATION
ASSIGNED TO THE INTERNATIONAL
BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS,
LOCAL 47 - GENERAL UNIT
WHEREAS, Section 1.05.020.0103 of the Anaheim Municipal Code requires the
Human Resources Director to maintain and administer the positon classification and
compensation plan;
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated September 27, 2022, that a new classification be established in the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47 - General Unit, effective the pay period beginning
September 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the creation
of the new classification and assignment to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers,
Local 47 - General Unit, is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that effective the pay period beginning September 30, 2022, Article 17 - Salary
Relationships and Appendix A - Wages, of the Memorandum of Understanding between the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47 - General Unit, and the City of
Anaheim, is hereby amended by modifying the following job classification compensation and
salary relationship:

Water Production& $51.30 - $53.35 08 - 09 1.30 x Water Production
Maintenance Foreman Technician
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Human Resources Director shall be
delegated with the authority to publish the authorized salary schedule in said Memorandum of
Understanding in any format meeting the requirements of California Code of Regulations
section 570.5.
SECTION 2.
Except as amended herein, classifications assigned to the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47 - General Unit, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
The effective date of said amendment to classifications assigned to the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47 - General Unit, as amended, is
September 30, 2022.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of September , 2022 by the following roll
call vote:
