A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT TO BE MADE
AND ENTERED INTO WITH THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC
COMPANY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF GRADE CROSSING
AND PROTECTIVE DEVICES AT, THE CROSSING OF
CERRITOS AVENUE OVER TRACKS AND PROPERTY OF
RAILROAD (CROSSING NO. BAA- 510.3).
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Company, a corpora-
tion, has tendered to the City of Anaheim an agreement for
the improvement of grade crossing and protective devices at
the crossing of Cerritos Avenue over tracks and property of
Railroad, at or near West Anaheim, in the County of Orange,
State of California (Crossing No. BAA- 510.3), in the location
as shown upon the print of said Company's Los Angeles Divi-
sion Drawing A -6003, Sheet No. 1, revised August 28, 1968,
attached to and made a part of said agreement; and
WHEREAS, said agreement has this day been submitted
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim for its considera-
tion, and the City Council does find and determine that it
would be for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to enter into said agreement with the Southern Pacific
Company, and that-the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted
to the City Council to be executed by the Southern Pacific
Company and the City of Anaheim for the improvement of grade
crossing and protective devices at the crossing of Cerritos
Avenue over tracks and property of Railroad, at or near West
Anaheim, in the County of Orange, State of California (Crossing
No. BAA- 510.3), in the location as shown upon the print of
said Company's Los Angeles Division Drawing A-6003, Sheet No.
1, revised August 28, 1968, attached to and made a part of
said agreement, be, and the same is hereby approved and
accepted.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 27th day of May 1969.
