69R-304RESOLUTION NO. 69R -304 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMEND- MENT NO. 113. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment to the Circulation Element Highway Rights of Way on the General Plan, to extend Sunkist Street southerly from Cerritos Avenue to Howell Avenue, as a secondary highway and Cerritos Avenue, extending easterly from the Southern Pacific Railroad to Douglas Road as a secondary highway with exceptions; and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, following said hearing the Planning Commis- sion did adopt Resolution No. PC69 -63 containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan, designated as Amendment No. 113 be adopted by the City Council establishing Sunkist Street between Cerritos and Howell Avenues as a secondary highway and Cerritos Avenue extending easterly from the Southern Pacific Railroad to Douglas Road as a secondary highway with exceptions on the Circulation Element Highway Rights of Way and Arterial Streets and Highway Maps; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of evidence, reports of findings and recommendation of the City Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 29th day of April, 1969 as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed Amendment No. 113 to the General Plan and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and thereafter decision was twice continued to allow analysis of dedication requirements on Cerritos Avenue as they affected an existing industrial complex; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there- upon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that Amendment No. 113 to the General Plan establishing Sunkist Street between Cerritos and Howell Avenues as a secondary highway and Cerritos Avenue, extending easterly from the Southern Pacific Railroad to Douglas Road as a secondary highway with exceptions, should be approved as recommended by the City Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 113 to the General Plan amending the Circulation Element Highway Rights of Way on said General Plan by changing Sunkist Street between Cerritos and Howell Avenues to a secondary highway and Cerritos Avenue, extending easterly from the Southern Pacific Railroad to Douglas Road to a secondary highway with exceptions, be and the same is hereby approved. ATTEST: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be, and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 113 herein approved.
