A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AGREEING TO ABIDE BY
THE ORANGE COUNTY CIVIL DEFENSE AND DISASTER
RELIEF PLAN EMERGENCY FIRE SERVICES APPENDIX
I OF ANNEX B, AND TERMINATING ALL CURRENT AGREE-
MENTS FOR MUTUAL FIRE PROTECTION.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Orange, State of California, on the llth day of March,
1969, adopted the Orange County Civil Defense and Disaster
Relief Plan Emergency Fire Services known as Appendix I
of Annex. B of the Orange County Operational Area Civil De-
fense and Disaster Plan, as adopted by the Orange County
Board of Supervisors, on behalf of the County of Orange and
all its departments and agencies; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council
of the City of Anaheim to approve and agree to abide by said
Orange County Civil Defense and Disaster Relief Plan Emer-
gency Fire Services known as Appendix I of Annex B of the
Orange County Operational Area Civil Defense and Disaster Plan,
as adopted by the Orange County Board of Supervisors, and
to terminate all current agreements for mutual fire protec-
tion which have hitherto been made and entered into and exe-
cuted by the City of Anaheim as a principal party thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does, by this resolution, hereby approve
and agree to abide by said Orange County Civil Defense and
Disaster Relief Plan Emergency Fire Services known as
Appendix I of Annex B of the Orange County Operational Area
Civil Defense and Disaster Plan, as adopted by the Orange
County Board of Supervisors; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim
hereby terminates all current agreements for mutual fire pro-
tection in which the City is a party, and the City Clerk is
hereby directed to serve notice of its intention to terminate
such agreements upon the clerk of the governing body of each
of the other parties thereto as provided in Paragraph 7 of
the standard form agreement for mutual fire protection; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, directed to file with the Orange County Board of
Supervisors two certified copies of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 20th day of May 1969.
