A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easementsfor road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM COUNTRY CLUB
APARTMENTS, a partnership, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for easements
for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across the Southerly 45 feet,
as measured at right angles to the centerline of
Broadway, and the Easterly 60 feet as measured at right
angles to the centerline of Brookhurst Street, of that
parcel of land described as follows:
The South half of the Northeast quarter of the North-
east quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as per Map re-
corded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across that portion of the
South half of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. M. described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Broadway
and Brookhurst Street, as shown on a Map of Tract 2928,
recorded in Book 95, pages 13 through 15 of Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence North
0° 06' 05" East along the centerline of said Brookhurst
Street 68.34 feet; thence North 89° 53' 55" West 60
feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and
60 feet Westerly of the centerline of said Brookhurst,
said point of intersection being the beginning of a
curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 25
feet, a radial line bearing South 89° 53' 55" East
passes through the point of beginning of said curve;
thence Southwesterly and Westerly along said curve
through a central angle of 88° 52' 10" an arc
distance of 38.78 feet to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 45.00 feet Northerly of the centerline
of Broadway; thence South 1° 01' 45" East 45 feet to
an intersection with the centerline of said Broadway;
thence North 88° 58' 15" East along the said centerline
of said Broadway 83.64 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of May, 1969,
