A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and pub-
lic utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of BARBARA R. WARNES, and
MOBIL OIL CORPORATION, a New York Corporation successor in inter-
est to GENERAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION, a Delaware Corporation,
Lessee under the terms of that certain lease recorded May 12,
1954 in Book 2726, page 647 of Official Records, to sell to the
City of Anaheim the following described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes,
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of Kroeger's
Subdivision of Vineyard Lot D -1 as per Map re-
corded in Book 5, page 34 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Lin-
coln Avenue, formerly known as Center Street, and
East Street, as shown on a Map of Tract 1157 re-
corded in Book 40, pages 34 and 35 of Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence
North 15° 28' 00" West along the centerline of
said East Street a distance of 178.75 feet to the
point of intersection with the Easterly prolonga-
tion of the Northerly line of Lot 1, said Tract
1157; thence South 74° 30' 00" West a distance of
35.50 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
continuing South 74° 30' 00" West a distance of
4.50 feet; thence South 15° 28' 00" East a dis-
tance of 110.01 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius
of 25 feet; thence Southerly and Westerly along
said curve through a central angle of 89° 58' 00"
an arc distance of 39.26 feet to a point of inter-
section with the existing Northerly right of way
line of said Lincoln Avenue; thence North 74° 30'
00" East a distance of 29.49 feet; thence North
15° 28' 00" West a distance of 135.00 feet to the
true point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of May 1969.
