A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT
UTILITY PURPOSES.

AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
offered
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
RAYMOND J. DIXON and THELMA R. DIXON, husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lots 4 and 5 of Tract
1120, as per Map recorded in Book 41, page 12 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of
Lincoln Avenue (formerly known as Center Street) and
East Street, as shown on a Map of Tract 1120 recorded
in Book 41, page 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said County; thence South 15° 22' 55" East along the
said centerline of said East Street 150 feet; thence
North 74° 37' 25" East 40 feet; thence North 15° 22'
55" West 72 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet;
thence Northerly, Northeasterly and Easterly along said
curve through a central angle of 90° 00' 20" an arc
distance of 39.27 feet; thence North 74° 37' 25" East
68 feet; thence North 15° 22' 55" West 53 feet to an
intersection with the centerline of said Lincoln
Avenue; thence South 74° 37' 25" West along the center-
line of said Lincoln Avenue 133 feet to the point of
beginning.
For the purpose of this description the centerline of
East Street is assumed to be the West line of Lot 5
and the centerline of Lincoln Avenue the North line
of Lots 4 and 5, said Tract 1120.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 1nth day of May 1969
