69R-242WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company, a Kansas corporation, has tendered to the City of
Anaheim, a license agreement dated April 14, 1969, for a term
beginning April 14, 1969 and ending when said license shall
be terminated,` as provided therein, licensing and permitting
the City of Arfaheim to' use C certain land exclusivel§ as a site
for encroachment of embankment and drainage ditch; subject to
the rights and easements therein excepted and reserved, and
upon the terms and conditions therein set forth, said land
being situated at or near Placentia, Orange County, California,
and outlined in red coloring on the print attached to said
License Agreement, numbered L -3- 30019, dated April 14, 1969,
and marked "Exhibit A and
WHEREAS, said license agreement has this day been
submitted to the City Council for consideration, and the City
Council does find and determine that it would be for the bene-
fit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to enter into
said license agreement with said Railway Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the. City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the above- mentioned license agree-
ment tendered to the City of Anaheim by The Atchison, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company, a Kansas corporation, licensing
and permitting the City of Anaheim to use certain land exclu-
sively as a site for encroachment of embankment and drainage
ditch, subject to the rights and easements therein excepted
and reserved, and upon the terms and conditions therein set
forth, the land being situated at or near Placentia, Orange
County, California, and outlined in red coloring on the print
attached to said License Agreement, numbered L -3- 30019, dated
April 14, 1969, and marked "Exhibit A be, and the same is
hereby, approved and accepted.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
license agreement above- mentioned for and on behalf of the
City of Anaheim.
