A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lots 109, 110, 111,
112, and 113 of tha Eucalyptus Forest Tract as shown
on a Map thereof recorded in Book 5, pages 29 and 30
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Coronado
Street and Blue Gum Street, as shown on said map of
the Eucalyptus Forest Tract; thence North 73° 43'
00" East along the centerline of said Coronado Street,
660 feet; thence South 16 17' 00" East 32 feet to
the true point of beginning; thence South 73 43' 00"
West 584.99 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet;
thence Southwesterly along a portion of said curve
through a central angle of 90" 00' 52" an arc distance
of 7 feet, more or less, to an intersection with a
line bearing South 28° 42' 04" West, as described in
the deed to the County of Orange recorded August 7,
1967 in Book 6204, pages 797 through 800, inclusive,
of Offical Records; thence North 28° 42' 04" East 4
feet more, or less, along said line to an intersection
with a line parallel with and 30 feet Southerly of the
centerline of said Coronado Street; thence North 73°
43' 00" East 605 feet; thence South 16° 17' 00" East
2 feet to the true point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
NICK POKAJAC and GRETTA M. POKAJAC, husband and wife; and
WILLIAM E. KUYPER, a widower
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 22nd day of April 19 69
