A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN.AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND ROYAL
INNS OF AMERICA, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim acquired property at
the intersection og Harbor Boulevard and Convention Way in
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
found and determined that said property is not needed for Municipal
purposes and the best use of the property is for the private
operation of a hotel and related facilities; and
WHEREAS, Royal Inns of America, Inc. has submitted
to the City a written proposal for the leasing of said property,
dated February 20, 1969 and signed by Earl Gagosian, for the
development of a first -class hotel thereon, and
WHEREAS, the terms'and conditions of said proposal
are satisf,acto ry to City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby authorized to execute an agreement between
the City of Anaheim and Royal Inns of America, Inc., embodying
the terms and conditions set forth in said proposal dated
February 20, 1969 and signed by Earl Gagosian, a form of which
agreement, dated April 11, 1969, is on file in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
