OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT
UTILITY PURPOSES.

ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
MOHAWK DATA SCIENCES CORPORATION
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Southwest quarter
of the Northeast quarter of Section 23, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de
Santa Ana, conveyed to Mohawk Data Sciences Corporation
by deed recorded January 10, 1969 in Book 8841, page
655 of Official Records, lying westerly of a line parallel
with and distant easterly 45 feet (measured at right
angles) from the west line of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 23.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion included within Lewis
Street as conveyed to the City of Anaheim by deed re-
corded March 21, 1962 in Book 6046, page 150 of said
Official Records.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 8th day of April 1969
