A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
HOWARD P. KOGAN and EDNA B. KOGAN
husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 30 feet, as measured at
right angles to the centerline of Dale Avenue, of that
portion of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 11 West,
in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as said Section is shown on
a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of the Northeast
quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 12,
distant North 0° 11' 30" West 664.60 feet from the South-
east corner of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of said Secton 12; thence South 89° 40' 30"
West 264.00 feet; thence North 0° 11' 30" West 86.67
feet; thence North 89° 40' 30" East 264.00 feet to the
East line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of said Section 12; thence South 0° 11' 30" East
86.67 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
