A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility puposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
MENASHA CONTAINER CORPORATION OF CALIFORNIA
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 23 feet of the following
described parcel of land:
Lot 24 of Anaheim Extension, as per Map of Survey made
by William Hamel and filed in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, a copy of
which is recorded in Book 3, pages 163 et seq entitled
"Los Angeles County Maps" records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of said lot, being
on the Easterly line of Olive Street, 49.50 feet wide,
as shown on said map; thence South 15° 26' 59" East
1034.86 feet to the Southwesterly corner of said lot,
being on the Northerly line of Ball Road, 60 feet wide;
thence North 89° 56' 55" East 1164.82 feet to the
Southeasterly corner of said lot, being on the Westerly
line of Orange Street, 49.50 feet wide; thence North
15° 24' 36" West 1347.96 feet to the Northeasterly
corner of said lot; thence South 74° 21' 23" West
1123.95 feet to the point of beginning.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
