69R-146WHEREAS, heretofore, the City of Anaheim did record
on October 26, 1967 the Final Order of Condemnation in the
case of City of Anaheim v. Anaheim Union Water Comanany,,etc.,
et al., Orange County Superior Court Case No. 2 81, by v tri ue
o which the rights of the Orange County Water District in the
Santa Ana River were transferred to the City; and
WHEREAS, by Grant Deed dated October 24, 1967 and
recorded October 26, 1967, the City of Anaheim did transfer said
water rights to the Orange County Water District; and
WHEREAS, under Title 23 of the California Administrative
Code, it becomes necessary for notice of the transfer of any
water rights to be forwarded to the State Water Resources Control
Board; and
WHEREAS, as one of the transferors it is essential
that the City of Anaheim execute such a notice.
NOW, THEREFORE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it authorize and it does hereby
authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute on
behalf of the City of Anaheim the "Notice to State Water Resources
Control Board of Change in Ownership of Water Rights."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fully executed Notice
be delivered to the Office of the City Attorney for transmittal
to the Orange County Water District.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
