A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY.COUNCIL:OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM URGING THE CIVIL."_AERONAUTICS
BOARD TO GRANT ANY APPLICATIONS WHICH WOULD
PROVIDE A. FLIGHT. SCHEDULE BETWEEN ORANGE
COUNTY AIRPORT -AND SEATTLE, WASHINGTON AND
PORTLAND, OREGON.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of
the City of Anaheim, California, to improve air service; and
WHEREAS there ,is now pending before the Civil
AAeronautics Boar`an act n to improve air service between
Southern California and the Pacific Northwest cities of
Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, at the present time there is no direct
service offered between Orange County and the cities of
Seattle and Portland,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim, that the Civil Aeronautics Board is
hereby urged and requested to provide airline routes between
Orange County and Seattle and Portland; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be forwarded to the Civil Aeronautics Board.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this llth day 4 March, 1969.
