A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEEDS
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property haVe offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
ARNOLD D. HETH and IRENE HETH, husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public
utility purposes over, under and across the
Southerly 53 feet, as measured at right angles
to the centerline of Ball Road of that parcel
of land described as follows:
Lot 3 of Tract No. 2839, as per Map thereof
recorded in Book 85, pages 9 to 15, inclusive,
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across that portion of
Lot 3, Tract 2839, recorded in Book 85, pages 9
to 15 inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Ball
Road and Westvale Drive, formerly known as Embassy
Drive, as shown on a Map of said Tract 2839; thence
North 89° 37' 25" East along the centerline of
said Ball Road a distance of 45.15 feet; thence
North 00° 14' 48" West a distance of 53.00 feet
to the beginning of a curve concave Northeasterly
and having a radius of 15 feet, a radial line
bearing South 00° 14' 48" East passes through the

and Northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 90° 07' 47" an arc distance of 23.59
feet; thence South 89° 37' 25" West a distance
of 30.00 feet to the centerline of said Westvale

said centerline of said Westvale Drive a distance
of 68.10 feet to the point of beginning.
(For the purpose of this description, the southerly
line of Lot 3 described in Parcel One is assumed
to be the centerline of Ball Road).
the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey
said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
