A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 63R -836 OF
THE CITY COUNCIL DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
CANVAS. OF ELECTION RETURNS OF A SPECIAL BOND
ELECTION HELD ON OCTOBER.8, 1963,.BY CORRECT-
ING A CLERICAL ERROR IN SECTION 4 THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on October 15, 1963, adopt
Resolution No. 63R -836 declaring the results of the canvas of
election returns of a special bond election held in the City of
Anaheim on October 8, 1963; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that through inadvertence
or oversight a clerical error was made in Section 4 of said reso-
lution in that bond propositions W, E, D and S, on which more than
two thirds of all votes cast were in favor of adoption, were
erroneously referred to as "propositions A, B, C and D"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said resolution
should be amended by correcting said clerical error.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 63R -836, adopted October 15,
1963, be and the same is hereby amended by correcting Section 4
thereof to read as follows:
"Section 4. That the votes of more than two
thirds of all the voters voting at said election
upon bond propositions W, E, D and S were cast
in favor of the adoption of said bond propositions,
and each of said bond propositions is hereby
declared to be carried, and this City Council is
authorized to issue bonds for the purposes stated
therein, as provided by law, and that Propositions
C and L, and each of them, did not receive the
favorable votes of two thirds of all the voters
voting upon said propositions and are hereby
declared to have failed."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is
hereby authorized and directed to correct her records by changing
Resolution No. 63R -836 as hereinabove set forth.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of November, 1963.
