A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PUBLIC
WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE ALL ORANGE COUNTY
FLOOD CONTROL PERMITS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, EXCEPT THOSE PERTAINING TO EASEMENTS.
WHEREAS, in connection with the administration of the
Department of Public Works of the City of Anaheim, it becomes
necessary to seek permission to enter into or encroach upon
the facilities of the Orange County Flood Control District;
and
WHEREAS,,in the past, permits allowing such encroach-
ment have been executed by the Mayor and City Clerk after
action by the City Council, said action being based upon the
recommendations of the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the routine
negotiations between the City and the Orange County Flood
Control District can be better handled and expedited by hav-
ing the Public Works Director of the City of Anaheim execute
all flood control permits on behalf of the City, except those
pertaining to easements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Public Works Director be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute, on be-
half of the City of Anaheim, all Orange County flood control
permits, except those pertaining to easements.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 19th day of Novembers 1963.
