RESOLUTION NO. 63R -921
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and beat interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of MILTON OKIN and EVELYN
husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
S property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
tate of California, to be used for an easement for public
utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes over, under and
across that parcel of land lying parallel with and 5.00
feet Southerly of the following described line, being a
portion of Lot 25 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map
of Survey made by William Hamel and filed in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
a copy of which is recorded in Book 3, pages 163, et seq.,
entitled "Los Angeles County Maps" in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of the land conveyed
to Beverly Armstrong and Fritz Goossens by deed recorded
in Book 5765, page 184 of Official Records, said corner
being a point in the Southerly line of the land conveyed to
Herman Henry Bruns and Edna Emma Bruns by deed recorded in
Book 792, page 12 of Official Records, and distant Easterly
along said Southerly line 512.43 feet from the Westerly line
of said Lot 25 .(Center line of Los Angeles Street); thence
North 74 30' 00" East along said Southerly line a distance
of 432.23 feet to the point of terminus of the line herein
described.
The Southerly 2.00 feet of the above described easement will
be used for cross arms and electric power line overhang pur-
poses only.

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED th :.t the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01.00).
