A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A cRANT ED
CONVEYING
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL THE CITY
PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR E
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public
utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of PACIFIC MIDWEST
DEVELOPMENT CO., a corporation,
to sell to the City of the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public
utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes over, under and
across that parcel of land lying parallel with and 5.00
feet Southerly of the following described line, being a
portion of Lot 25 of Anaheim Extension as shown on a Map
of Survey made by William Hamel and filed in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
a copy of which is recorded in Book 3, pages 163 et seq.,
entitled "Los Angeles County Maps" in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the land conveyed
to Milton Okin and Evelyn Okin in deed recorded October 3,
1963 in Book 6744, page 222 of Official Records; thence
North 74 30' 00" East to the Northeast corner of that
parcel of land conveyed to Pacific Midwest Development
Co., a California corporation, in deed recorded January 22,
1963 in Book 6403, page 140 of Official Records, said
corner being the point of terminus of the line herein
described.
The Northerly 2.00 feet of the above described easement
will be used for cross arms and electric power line over-
hang purposes only.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01.00)•
