63-0955WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of 7lacentia
has requested that in order to create less confusion to the public,
the name of Placentia -Yorba Boulevard, from Orangethorpe Avenue
on the east to a point approximately 665 feet west of the center
line of Dowling Avenue on the west, be changed to Crowther Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission did, on
November 1 3, 1 963, adopt Resolution No. 969—Series 1963 -64 find-
ing that said proposed street name change will affect only six
owners of undeveloped property and the Orange County Flood Control
District in the City of Anaheim, and recommending to the City
Council that said name be changed; and
WHEREAS, after a thorough study of the matter, the City
Council does find that the name of said street should be changed
as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the name of Placentia -Yorba Boulevard
from Orangethorpe Avenue on the east to a point approximately
665 feet west of the center line of Dowling Avenue on the west,
in the City of Anaheim, be changed to Crowther Avenue.
