63-0961RESOLUTION NO. 63R -961 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT PURPOSES. COUNCIL OF THE CITY GRANT DEED ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL FOR PUBLIC UTILITY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility purposes and WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of FRITZ GOOSSENS, a married man and ROSE M. GOOSSENS, his wife to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for public utility purposes over, under and across the Westerly 5.00 feet of that portion of Lot 25 of Anaheim Extension as shown on a Map of Survey by William Hamel, a copy of which is shown in Book 3, pages 162 to 164, inclusive, of Los Angeles County Maps, Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 25, said corner being also the intersection of the center line of Los Angeles Street with the South line of Section 15, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., as shown on said map of Anaheim Extension; thence along the Westerly line of said Lot 25 (center line of Los Angeles Street) North 15 30' 00" West a distance of 417.85 feet to the Southerly line of the land conveyed to Herman Henry Bruns and Edna Emma Bruns by deed recorded in Book 792, page 12 of Official Records; thence along said Southerly line North 74° 30' 00" East a distance of 512.43 feet; thence South 0 03' 00" East a distance of 539.27 feet to a point in the Southerly line of said Section 15; thence along said Southerly line South 89 57' 00" West to the point of beginning. EXCEPT THEREFROM the Westerly 300 feet measured at right angles to the Westerly line of said Lot 25. ALSO EXCEPT THEREFROM the Northerly 70.00 feet conveyed to Chrysler Motors Corp. in deed recorded October 15, 1963 in Book 6760, page 610 of Official Records and any portion lying within Ball Road. The Easterly 2.00 feet of the above described easement will be used for cross arms and electric power line overhang purposes only. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
