I will deal with IPD myself, since I have been in touch with both the detective and sergeant, and I’ve been on the
childcare committee before.
No protest for 11/22 meeting, they don’t work for our Hindu issues - yet. But as a Hindu community leader, I am trying
to get the rest of the activists together and organized in an effective manner, so that the other Hindu leaders and orgs
will start listening, acting, and helping. Most likely that will have to be the letter writing campaign

and us gathering as many signatures together as possible for submission by the Nov 22 city council meeting. Please
indicate your availability for the Zoom meeting this Monday either 8-10 a.m. or 7-10 p.m. PST for 1 hour.

Too much has happened and continues to happen when emotions are running high. Thoughts need to be clear but
the delivery needs to be better where all the necessary parties will listen. Yes, Hindu organizations are indeed getting
turned off, and there’s nothing I can do to help change that at this particular point.
But that’s not to say that things can’t change going forward, they can but a better strategy is needed. I’m willing to
strategize with you all on a Zoom meeting soon in the next few days before Sonal and Vasant post this letter to city
council. Here is my availability as follows and I will send the Zoom link:
Monday 11/21 either between 8-10 a.m. or 7-10 p.m. PST for 1 hour max. Please reply to all so we can fix this
meeting ASAP.
Let’s have cool heads and a viable, sustainable, long term strategy prevail. Then I will approach Larry Agran and Dr.
Kathleen Treseder, other Hindu orgs, temples, and govt and public agencies for their help. I will especially approach
my contacts at OC Human Relations, but in a way that they will listen and help. Also, I’ve taken all the CoHNA folks
and the president of the Irvine mandir off this email thread as well - let’s try a fresh start where others will listen and
act in favor of our shared objectives. Please let’s focus on our dharmic duties with our karma in mind.
