Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and are expecting the message. Dear Mayor Aitken and City Council Members, Please approve allocation of funds for initiatives that will help residents who live adjacent to the Union Pacific railroad tracks between Cerritos and Euclid. As the City prepares its Budget, we request that you allow funding to combat our homeless/transient issues. Affected borders include Union Pacific, County of Orange, Southern California Edison and the City of Anaheim crossing District 2 and 4. We are also resort adjacent and the encampments are in full view of the upper levels of the Disneyland Hotel and the new Resort Time Share property on Walnut. The safety and well being of our neighbors and neighborhood have been severely challenged by the lack of attention by the City Council, the Police Department and Union Pacific regarding the encampments behind our homes. Please consider in your budget discussion funds that will help solve this issue that continues to threaten our civic safety. Thank you. Respectfully, Eric and Ann Brenton
