REGULAR MEETING OF JULY 20, 2021
The Anaheim Housing Authority regular meeting of July 20, 2021 was called to order at
5:07 P.M. in joint session with the Anaheim City Council, pursuant to Brown Act related
provisions of Governor Newsom's Executive Order N-08-21 in response to COVID-19
(superseding the related provisions stated in Executive Orders N-29-20 and N-25-20). The
meeting notice, agenda, and related materials were duly posted on July 15, 2021.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Harry Sidhu and Authority Members Stephen Faessel,
Jose Diaz, Jose F. Moreno, Avelino Valencia, and Trevor O'Neil
(in-person). Authority Member Jordan Brandman (via
teleconference).
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Jim Vanderpool, City Attorney Robert Fabela, and
Secretary Theresa Bass

PUBLIC COMMENTS (all aaenda items): None
CITY MANAGER'S UPDATE:
City Manager Jim Vanderpool thanked the Anaheim Police Department Traffic Bureau for
collaborating with Children's Hospital Orange County on a Bike Safety Day where helmets were
distributed and approximately 75 children were able to ride their bikes through a Bike Rodeo to
learn safety procedures.
CONSENT CALENDAR: At 6:28 P.M., Authority Member Faessel moved to adopt the
consent calendar as presented, seconded by Authority Member Diaz. ROLL CALL VOTE:
AYES — 7 (Chairman Sidhu and Authority Members Faessel, Diaz, Brandman, Moreno,
Valencia, and O'Neil); NOES — 0. Motion carried.
AGR- 1. Approve an Agreement, in substantial form, with Interval House, in an amount not to
13005 exceed $350,000, for the Emergency Housing Voucher program effective through June
30, 2024 with two automatic one-year extensions, and authorize the Acting Executive
Director to execute and administer the Agreement on behalf of the Housing Authority.
AHA177 2. Approve minutes of the Housing Authority meeting of July 13, 2021.
