66-014 RESOLUTION NO. 66R-14 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 65R-233 IN RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS NO. 64-65-86. WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on March 23, 1965 adopt Resolution No. 65R-233 in Reclassification Proceedings No. 64-65-86 finding and determining that the prop- erty and area therein described should be changed from R-A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE to R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, sub- ject to certain conditions set forth in said resolution; and WHEREAS, at the time of the filing of the application for said change of zone it was the intent of the petitioners to establish a standard R-3 Subdivision with two-story construc- tion; and WHEREAS, the owners and developers of subject property have subsequently submitted a petition for a permit to establish a planned residential development on subject property; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that in order to provide for flexibility in administering requests for the development of subject property for either a standard R-3 Sub- division or planned residential development, Resolution No. 65R-233 should be amended; and WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that an ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of zone and completing said reclassification proceedings. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City 01 Anaheim that Resolution No. 65R-233 in Reclassi- fication Proceedings No. 64-65-86 be, and the same is hereby amended as follows: That the conditions set forth in said resolution, numbered 1 to 5, both inclusive, upon which said change of zone was granted, be, and the same are hereby deleted; and that the following conditions be, and are hereby substituted therefor: 1. That a final tract map of subject property shall be submitted to the City Council for approval and recorded in the Office of the Orange County Recorder, or: (b) That the owners of subject property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width, from the center line of the street, along orangethorpe Avenue, for street widening purposes. That the owners of subject property shall deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 45 feet in width, from the center line of the street, along Crowther Avenue, for street widening purposes. (a) -1- 64-65-86 (c) 2. 3. 4. (1) That all engineering requirements of the City . of Anaheim along Orangethorpe and Crowther Avenues, including preparation of improvement plans and installation of all improvements, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall be complied with as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer; and (2) that a bond in an amount and form satisfactory to the City of Anaheim shall be posted with the City to guarantee the installation of said engin~ering requirements. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot, along orangethorpe and Crowther Avenues, for street lighting purposes. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of 15(: per front foot along Orangethorpe and Crowther Avenues, for tree planting purposes. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accord- ance with approved plans on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets, prior to final building inspection. (d) (e) That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department, said fire hydrants to be installed prior to final building inspection. That the owners of subject ~roperty shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of ~25.00 per dwelling unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the building permit is issued. That all vehicular access rights to Orangethorpe and Crowther Avenues, except at street, drive and/or alley openings, shall be dedicated to the City of Anaheim. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said Resolution No. 65R-233 be, and remain in full force and effect. 5.
