A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVING AREA DEVELOPMENT PLAN
NO. 9. <
WHFREAS,.the City Planning Commission heretofore
initiated study and consideration of Area Development Plan
No. 9 to consider approval of commercial zoning and/or the
establishment of "no parking" restrictions for proPerties
generally located along Harbor Boulevard between Lincoln
Avenue on the north and Ball Road on the south; and:
WHEREAS, said Area Development Plan also
encompassed consideration of commercial zoning for that
property generally located on both sides of. Harbor Boulevard
bgtween.South Street and Vermont Avenue and including those
properties on the west side of Helena Street; and
WHEREAS,;on December 20, 1965, the City Planning
Commission did hold a public hearing to consider Area Develop-
ment Plan No. 9; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. 1887, Series
1965-66 containing a report of its findings, a summary of the
evidence presented at such hearing, and a recommendation that
said Area Development Plan No. 9 be disapproved; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, a summary
of evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 25th
day of January, 1966, as the time, and the City Council Chamber
in the City Hall as the place for a public hearing on said
proposed Area Development Plan No. 9 and did give notice
thereof in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Area Development Plan No. 9 should be disapproved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Area Development Plan No. 9 be,
and the same is hereby, disapproved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 25th day of January, 1966.
