A RESOLUTION" OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM D,ISAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLMl. DESIGNATED AS AMENDME~ NOo 69

WHEREAS, th~ City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly pa$sed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial o'f an amendment to the General Plan in the
general location and vicinity of the property described in
Conditional Use Permit No. 783~
and being generally bounded by~
Jefferson Street on 'the west;
A line approximately 330 feet south of Coronado Street on
the north; "
A line approximately 1,144 feet e~t of Jefferson Street
on the eas t ; auc:1 ~ I
A line approximately 1,055 feet south of Coronado Street
on the south, .
and comprising approximately 18.17 acres, as shown
and described on Exhibit "An on file in the City Planning
Department, after having held a public hearing in the manner and
as prescribed by- law to consider said proposed amendment, and
after having received evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and '
WHEREAS, following the hearlng thereon, the Planning Com-
mission did duly announce by formal resplution its findings of
facts and declare' its opinions and reasons for recommending denial
of said amendment to 1the General Plan, designated as Amendment
Noo 69 ; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution'" summary of evi- .
dence, report of findings>> and recommendation of ,the',' City Planning
Commission, the City Council did fix the 14th' day (if December ,
19 65 as the time an4. the Council Chamber in the Cfty Hall of the
City of Anahe~ as the. place for a'public hearing upon said pro-
posed Amendment Noo 69 to the General Plan,and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law';' and
WHEREAS, at:.the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give .11 persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did r~ceive evidence and reports and. did thereupon
consider the recommendations of the City Plann~ng Commission; and

WHEREAS, the City Council does find .nd determine that
the aforementioned and, described property inclUded within the pro-
posed amendment to the General Plan is more suitable' for the
general land use pres~tly shown on the General. Pl~ Map, and, that
Amendment No 0 69 .. to the General Plan, covering the afore-
mentioned and describeQ property included within the proposed Amend-
ment Noo 69 to the ,..General Plan, should not be grantedo
NOWi) THEREFOREi) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Amendment Noo '69 to the General Plan,
encompassing the aforementioned and generally described property,
as shown on said Exhibit "A" ,be, and the same is hereby disap-
proved as recommended by the City Planning Commission 0
