RESOLUTION NO. 66R-58
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE 1M ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasi.ng the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easem~nt for road and
public uti~ity purposes ;
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha-!!- offered
to sell and convey the same to the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JACK E. RILEY and
MARJORIE P. RILEY~ husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
nublic utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:

An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 20 feet of the following
described property:
Beginning at a point in the North line of Section 26,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County, at its intersection with the West line
of the 60 foot ri~ht of way of the Southern Pacific
Railroad, said p01nt being 426 feet West from the North
quarter section corner of said Section 26; thence South-
easterly along the West line of said right of way,
439.55 feet to the point of beginning of the tract
herein described; thence Westerly parallel with the
North line of said Section 26, 753.24 feet to the center
of" the 60 foot California State Highway; thence South-
easterly along the center of said Highway, 1169.12 feet
to the South line of the Northeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of said Section 26; thence East
234.79 feet to the West line of said 60 foot right of
way of the Southern Pacific Railroad; thence North-
westerly along the West line of said right of way 917.90
feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion thereof included in the
State Highway.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
