RESOLUTION NO. 66R- 45
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF A CATCH BASIN
UNDER AND ACROSS CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, FROM
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY.
WHEREAS, Southern California Edison Company, a corpo-
ration organized under the laws of the State of California, has
tendered to the City of Anaheim, subject to the terms, covenants
and conditions therein set forth, an easement for the construc-
tion and maintenance of a catch basin under and across tbat
portion of Lot 20, Tract 190, in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as per Map recorded in Book 23,
page 50 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North line of
Freedman Way, 60 feet wide, adjoining said lot on
the South} as said Freedman Way is described in the
deed to tne City of Anaheim recorded May 15, 1962
in Book 6109, page 658 of Official Records of said
Orange County, with the East line of Hotel Way, 60
feet wide, as described in "parcel 1" in the deed
to said City of Anaheim recorded April 9, 1964, in
Book 6998, page 530 of Official Records; thence
East along said North line of Freedman Way, 16.00
feet to the true point of beginning; thence con-
tinuing East along said North line, 12.00 feet;
thence North at right angles to said North line,
5.00 feet; thence West, parallel to said North line,
12.00 feet; thence South 5.00 feet to the true
point of beginning.
Subject to covenants, conditions, restrictions,
reservations, exceptions, encumbrances, rights
and easements affecting the above described
property, whether of record or not.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is for the
benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said
easement this day submitted to the City Council by Southern
California Edison Company; and
WHEREAS, Southern California Edison Company's out-of-
pocket costs in connection with the preparation and processing
of said easement is the sum of $200.00, which amount said
Company has requested be paid to it by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the grant of easement this day
tendered to the City by Southern California Edison Company, a
corporation organized under the laws of the State of California,
granting to the City,' but subject to the terms, covenants and
conditions therein contained, an easement for the construction
and maintenance of a catch basin under and across that certain
real property hereinabove described, be and the same is hereby
approved and accepted.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to accept said easement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
.and he is hereby authorized to pay to Southern California
Edison Company the sum of $200.00 to cover the out-of-pocket
costs of said Southern California Edison Company in the prepa-
ration and processing of said easement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
18th day of Januarv , 1966.
