A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCE prING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easem~nt for road and
Dub1ic uti1itv purposes
and

WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha~ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of LEONARD SHAPIRO and
ANNETTE SHAPIRO II husband and wife II and BERNARD SHAPIRO and
RENA SHAPIRO. husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Northerly 45.00 feet (as measured at right
angles from the center line of Cerritos Avenue) of that parcel
of land, being a portion of the Northeast quarter of the South-
east quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Anai as said Section is
shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 0 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, being all that portion
of that certain real property described in the deed to Pacific
Electric Railway Company, recorded January 17, 1956 in Book
3357, page 280 of Official Records, lying within the following
described lines:
Beginning at the intersection of a line parallel with and
distant 270 feet Northwesterly, measured at right angles, from
the Southeasterly boundary of said certain real property, with
a line parallel with and distant 112.5 feet Easterly, measured
at right angles from the Westerly boundary of said certain
real property; thence North 00 07' 1111 East along said last
mentioned parallel line, 283.20 feet to the Northerly boundary
of said certain real property; thence South 890 52' 49" East,
along said Northerly boundary, 200.5 feet to a point in a
line parallel with and distant 312.5 feet Easterly, measured
at ri,ht angles, from said Westerly boundary; thence South
00 07 11" West, along said last mentioned parallel line,
233.63 feet to said first mentioned parallel line; thence
South 760 11' 56" West, along said first mentioned parallel
line 206.05 feet to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said pr~perty.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
