A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPrING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easem~nt for road and

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the CitI of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of INVESTMENT IN YOUTH. INC.,
a California cODoration.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County.of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
Dub1ic utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of the Schaffer-Oswald Subdivision,
as per Map recorded in Book 7, page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, and of the South half of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 3, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Olive
Street and La Palma Avenue as shown on the Map of said
Schaffer-Oswald Subdivision; thence North along the center
line of said Olive Street 78.04 feet; thence South 890 57' JO"
West to the point of intersection with a line that is paral-
lel with and 32.00 feet West of the center line of said Olive
Street, said point of intersection being the beginning of a
curve tangent to said parallel line and concave Northwesterly
having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Souther11 and Westerly
along said curve through a central angle of 90 02' 30" an
arc distance of 39.29 feet to the intersection with a line
that is parallel with and 53.00 feet north of the center line
of La Palma Avenue; thence due South to a point in the center
line of said La Palma Avenue, said point being 57.06 feet from
the point of beginning; thence Easterly along the center line
of said La Palma Avenue 57.06 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT the Easterly 30 feet lying within the right of way of
Olive Street.
ALSO EXCEPT the Southerly 53 feet lying within the right of way
of La Palma Avenue.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said pr,operty.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
