A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT
PURPOSES.

ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
FOR PUBLIC UTILITY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha a offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
THE COVINGTON BROTHERS, a Calitornia Corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes including the installation
and maintenance of underground electrical cables including trans-
formers and related facilities under and across that portion
of Lot 3 of Helen and Lynch's Subdivision of a portion of the West
half of Section 16, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
51, pages 7 et seq of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, and as shown on a Map recorded in Book 442, page 158 of
Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, described as
follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Lincoln Avenue and
Euclid Street, formerly known as Euclid Avenue, as shown on a
Map filed in Book 43, page 31 of Record of Surveys in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County; thence South 0° 16'
57" East along the centerline of said Euclid Street a distance of
665.02 feet; thence North 89° 07' 19" East along the centerline
of Pampas Lane a distance of 659.96 feet; thence North 0° 15' 44"

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this llth day of February 19 69.
