A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR SEWER, PUBLIC
UTILITY AND DRAINAGE PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for sewer, public
utility and drainage purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
LEWIS R. SCHMID and
JUDITH E. SCHMID,
husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for sewer,
Public utility and drainage purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for sewer, public utility and drainage
purposes over, under and across that portion of
Lot 1 of Tract No. 6646, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 249, pages 38 and 39 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as follows:
Commencing in the Northwest corner of said Tract
6646; thence North 74° 36' 54" East a distance of
15.00 feet; thence South 15° 23' 06" East a distance
of 22.83 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
North 74° 36' 54" East a distance of 121.06 feet;
thence North 89° 56' 28" East a distance of 109.07
feet to the beginning of a curve concave Easterly
and having a radius of 50 feet, a radial line
bearing North 62° 40' 18" West passes through the
point of beginning of said curve; thence Southwesterly
and Southerly along said curve through a central
angle of 23° 56' 51" an arc distance of 20.90 feet;
thence South 89° 56' 28" West a distance of 100.86
feet; thence South 74° 36' 54" West a distance of
118.36 feet; thence North 15° 23' 06" West a
distance of 20 feet tothe true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
