A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT
UTILITY PURPOSES,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
COUNCIL OF THE CITY
EASEMENT GRANT DEED
ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HOWARD LOUDON and
VIfTORIA I. LOUDON, husband and wife
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 32 feet, as measured at
right angles, to the centerline of Lemon Street, of
that portion of Original Building Lot 4 of Anaheim, as
per Map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds,
in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
County, California described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Westerly line of said Lot
4, distant 28 1/2 feet North of the Southwest corner
of said lot; thence Northerly along said Westerly line,
50 feet; thence Easterly, parallel with Sycamore Street,
8 1/2 rods to the Easterly line of said lot; thence
Southerly along said Easterly line, 50 feet to a point
28 1/2 feet Northerly of the Southeasterly corner of said
lot; thence Westerly 8 1/2 rods to the point of beginning.
For the purpose of this description, the centerline of
Lemon Street is assumed to be the Westerly property line
of the above described parcel.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
28th day of January 19 69
