RESOLUTION NO. 66R- 119
A RESOLUTION OF TRe; CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EX~-
CUT ION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE WITH REFERENCE TO ANIMAL CONTROL
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of contracting
with the County of Orange to provide animal and rabies control
services within the corporate limits of the City through the
Poundmaster of the County; and
~mEREAS, the County of Orange is agreeable to render-
ing such services on the terms and conditions set forth in a
form of agreement, entitled "Complete Animal Control Services,"
this day subm~tted to the City Council to be made and entered
into between the City and the County; and
WHEREAS, such contracts are authorized and provided
for by the Provisions of Article 1, 'Chapter 1, Part 2, Division
1, Title 5 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the terms and
conditions of said proposed agreement are satisfactory and that
it would be to the advantage and in the best interest of the
City to enter into said agreement with the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the proposed agreement this day sub-
mitted to the City Council to be made and entered into between
the City of Anaheim and the County of Orange, providing for the
renderin~ of animal and rabies control services bf the County,
through ~ts poundmaster, within the corporate lim~ts of the City,
to the extent and in the manner, and upon the terms and condi-
tions set forth in said agreement, be, and the same is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
